Child & Youth Safeguarding Policy

Creating a Safe Environment for All

1. Our Commitment

AVR Association believes that every child and young person has the right to live, learn, and develop in a safe environment, free from abuse, exploitation, and neglect. We have a zero-tolerance policy towards any form of harm.

Because our non-formal education programs and transnational mobilities (Erasmus+) often involve youth and minors, protecting their physical and psychological well-being is our highest priority.

2. Code of Conduct

  • Respect & Dignity: All staff, volunteers, and partners must treat participants with respect, regardless of gender, ethnicity, or background.
  • Supervision: Appropriate adult-to-youth ratios are maintained during all physical events and mobilities.
  • Prohibited Behaviors: Any form of physical punishment, emotional abuse, or inappropriate communication (online or offline) is strictly forbidden.

3. Reporting & Action

We have a clear protocol for handling concerns. If a participant, volunteer, or partner observes or suspects a safeguarding issue during our activities, it must be reported immediately to our designated Safeguarding Officer or Project Manager.

Reports can be made confidentially via: partnership@avr-global.eu.
